These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the SideAI website, browser extension, support services, and premium features.
Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using SideAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or extension.
What SideAI provides
SideAI provides browser extension features that help you access AI workflows from your browser, including sidebar access, selected-text actions, writing assistance, page tools, screenshot tools, custom prompts, and related productivity features.
SideAI does not sell ChatGPT access, OpenAI API access, or an OpenAI account. You are responsible for your own ChatGPT account, subscription, login session, limits, and OpenAI account settings.
OpenAI non-affiliation
SideAI is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. ChatGPT, OpenAI, and related marks belong to their respective owners.
Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for using SideAI lawfully and for keeping your browser, device, and ChatGPT account secure. You must not use SideAI if you are prohibited from using the service by applicable law.
Paid plans
Paid plans unlock SideAI premium extension features such as expanded assistant actions, writing workflows, page tools, customization controls, and related premium functionality. Plan names, prices, and included features may change over time.
Unless a plan is sold as lifetime access, recurring plans renew until canceled. Lifetime access means access to the premium SideAI extension features for the lifetime of the product, subject to these Terms, platform limits, and reasonable product changes.
Refunds
Premium purchases are covered by the SideAI Refund Policy. In general, we offer a 7-day money-back refund policy for premium purchases. See the Refund Policy page for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use SideAI for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing activity.
- Attempt to bypass licensing, payment, technical restrictions, or browser security controls.
- Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or redistribute SideAI except where allowed by law.
- Interfere with the website, extension, payments, support systems, or other users.
- Submit sensitive information through SideAI unless you have the right and authority to do so.
Third-party services
SideAI depends on browsers, extension stores, payment providers, Formspree, ChatGPT, OpenAI services, and other third-party platforms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account restrictions, model availability, or service limits.
Changes and availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve SideAI, comply with platform requirements, fix security issues, or adapt to third-party changes. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Intellectual property
SideAI, including its website, extension interface, branding, graphics, and software, is owned by SideAI or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SideAI according to these Terms.
Disclaimers
SideAI is provided "as is" and "as available." AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, publishing it, sending it, or using it in decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of SideAI.
